Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) After some careless play in the Stone City defense, Ted Hoogenkamp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Arias. The Stone City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Arias should have stopped the shot. Jorge Recife hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Fantini in the 7th minute of play forced Stone City's goalkeeper Baldomero Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Arias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildo Fantini in the 8th minute. If Valdir de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Grêmio's Gildo Fantini slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomero Arias. That made the score 2-0 after 12 minutes of play. Epifanio Bortzaioriz's late challenge caught a Grêmio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Epifanio Bortzaioriz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Stone City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. If Acácio de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomero Arias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gildo Fantini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Ted Hoogenkamp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Baldomero Arias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Beila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Grêmio's Gildo Fantini ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomero Arias. Baldomero Arias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. 41 minutes into the match, Ted Hoogenkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Arias. Stone City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ted Hoogenkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florentino Fresco made a kick off. Acácio de Amorim struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Baldomero Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio. The supporters of Grêmio booed when Stone City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Belmiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Arias came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio's Gildo Fantini. But to his dismay, Gildo Fantini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Valdir de Alcântara took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Arias. Baldomero Arias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. After 61 minutes of play, Grêmio's Ted Hoogenkamp made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Arias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baldomero Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio de Amorim in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Stone City getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Victoriano Belmiro hit a great ball. With a little luck, Grêmio's Rui Varela got control of the ball when Florentino Fresco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Atilano Beila struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Rui Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stone City. Gildo Fantini scored 12-0 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baldomero Arias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Ted Hoogenkamp made a precise shot to the right of Baldomero Arias. Stone City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. The supporters of Grêmio booed when Stone City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cecilio Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomero Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Hoogenkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
