After a rather tough play, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Sergio-Daniel Martinez got a free kick in the 10th minute. Roberto Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Guillelmo in the 12th minute of the match. CA Boca Jrs MdP were furious when Adan Frances was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Roberto Abbondanzieri had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Angelito Di Maria's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Roberto Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Jerrald in the 16th minute of play. Roberto Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Jerrald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Guillelmo came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Elixio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Abbondanzieri having to interfere. When Orozcos's Julian Jerrald in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Filomeno Su who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Amancio Oihan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romulo Guillelmo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Orozcos got a freekick which was hit by Gonza Montiel. 42 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Eduardo Raulo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Oihan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Orozcos's goalkeeper Amancio Oihan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Su. Roberto Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Jerrald in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Jerrald came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Jerrald was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CA Boca Jrs MdP's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Dolfos came free, but Roberto Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Orozcos booed when CA Boca Jrs MdP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freddy Ostots didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 56 played minutes, Orozcos's Angelito Di Maria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roberto Abbondanzieri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Orozcos reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Su in the 57th minute of play forced Orozcos's goalkeeper Amancio Oihan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Eduardo Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Boca Jrs MdP's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Liberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amancio Oihan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amancio Oihan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Su, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Julian Jerrald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Roberto Abbondanzieri made a huge save. Julian Jerralds short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Roberto Abbondanzieri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Angelito Di Maria kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Roberto Abbondanzieri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Amancio Oihan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Su in the 80th minute of the match. Julian Jerrald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Roberto Abbondanzieri made a huge save. Roberto Abbondanzieri was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Fabricio Elixio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fabricio Elixio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The Orozcos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Orozcos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
