Cleto Magdaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, ZEZOM TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Batista came free, but Rúben Trigueiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Gonçalves in the 24th minute of play forced Grütly's goalkeeper Cleto Magdaleno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliberto Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Leonel Ramone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grütly's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Ramone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rúben Trigueiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
