After 5 minutes, Max Bergvall made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vorwärts Lübeck's Salomon Kaloudis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Salomon Kaloudis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Bergvall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salomon Kaloudis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Siöman in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Leonardo Siöman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salomon Kaloudis. Vorwärts Lübeck's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Siöman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Salomon Kaloudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Bergvall, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jean-Baptiste Lasogga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Alex Pihl made a huge save. With his leg Alex Pihl managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Vorwärts Lübeck's Jean-Baptiste Lasogga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 24 minutes, Ronald Zöllmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vorwärts Lübeck and the Börna Bulldogs players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronald Zöllmer kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Per Wallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Börna Bulldogs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per Wallgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Alfred Boymanns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute, Max Bergvall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Börna Bulldogs's Alex Pihl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Börna Bulldogs from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Börna Bulldogs's Alex Pihl got control of the ball when Jean-Baptiste Lasogga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Pihl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Baptiste Lasogga in the 35th minute. In the 47th minute, Alfred Boymanns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jean-Baptiste Lasogga made a kick off. Marcus Hök charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcus Hök the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marcus Hök hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Vorwärts Lübeck's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Otto Wild in the 55th minute. The corner ended in Otto Wild almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Börna Bulldogs's Alex Pihl did a great save. Salomon Kaloudis made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Max Bergvall sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Jean-Baptiste Lasogga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alex Pihl. Börna Bulldogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Baptiste Lasogga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jessie Nangam took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Pihl. Alex Pihl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Magne Falck hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Alex Pihl came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Vorwärts Lübeck's Jean-Baptiste Lasogga. But to his dismay, Jean-Baptiste Lasogga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. In the 88th minute, Leonardo Siöman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Börna Bulldogs fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Vorwärts Lübeck a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Otto Wild, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Börna Bulldogs's Alex Pihl. 4-4.
