Arne Svensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torgny Mellin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arne Svensson ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by A. A. SAQUAREMA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Søren Stålnacke was slow to take the kick. During this time Band Of Brothers's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, Band Of Brothers's Dino Ciccarelli got a free kick in the 20th minute. Nils Damm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marcelinho Quadros made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Fábio Salgado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Torgny Mellin was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Torgny Mellin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobbo á Neystabø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonel Seco struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Torgny Mellin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A. A. SAQUAREMA. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 50 played minutes Band Of Brothers got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Joensson. Fábio Salgados short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Torgny Mellin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcelinho Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Bastard, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Marcelinho Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Damm in the 64th minute of the match. In the 64th minute Nils Damm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Band Of Brothers got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Donatelli. Torgny Mellin came out of the goal and Bobbo á Neystabø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torgny Mellin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Seco in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Nils Damm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torgny Mellin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by A. A. SAQUAREMA's Fábio Salgado. But to his dismay, Fábio Salgado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A. A. SAQUAREMA eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
