The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Taurino Hernaiz in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iwan Gamza saved GreenSkar FC from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Iwan Gamza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taurino Hernaiz got free with Iwan Gamza in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10thth minute of the game Jan-Ove Hansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Resistencia Tayrona FC's Cyprian Mitus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Resistencia Tayrona FC booed when GreenSkar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 played minutes GreenSkar FC got a freekick which was hit by Kent Ivarsson. Cyprian Mitus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Hansson in the 22nd minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Resistencia Tayrona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Hansson came free, but Cyprian Mitus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, GreenSkar FC's Peder Hääger got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Saverio Astete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iwan Gamza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 30th minute Jan-Ove Hansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Mitus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Carl Enström managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Taurino Hernaiz made the kick off in the second half. Cyprian Mitus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Ove Hansson in the 51st minute of the match.
