Christian Trombetta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Montrel Chamorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Resistencia Tayrona FC booed when Borgo Doria F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Mancini didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Taurino Hernaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Bernardo Pennetta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyprian Mitus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Trombetta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taurino Hernaiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arrigo Sciarretta in the 30th minute of play forced Resistencia Tayrona FC's goalkeeper Cyprian Mitus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Arrigo Sciarretta put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cyprian Mitus. After 33 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Taurino Hernaiz. Cyprian Mitus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Pennetta in the 37th minute of play. Cyprian Mitus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arrigo Sciarretta's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. If Taurino Hernaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute of the match, Taurino Hernaiz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Trombetta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Pennetta made a kick off. Daniele Di Gregorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Mitus having to interfere. A hard shot 56 in the game by Bernardo Pennetta from a close distance when the talented Cyprian Mitus managed to make a qualified save. Resistencia Tayrona FC's players were relieved. With a little luck, Resistencia Tayrona FC's Cyprian Mitus got control of the ball when Bernardo Pennetta tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Pennetta got free with Cyprian Mitus in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cyprian Mitus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Di Gregorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, Salbatore Yunibarbia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Resistencia Tayrona FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borgo Doria F.C. the free kick. 66 minutes into the match, Borgo Doria F.C.'s Filippo Berti broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cyprian Mitus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Pennetta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filippo Berti kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Bernardo Pennetta's late challenge caught a Resistencia Tayrona FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardo Pennetta helped the player get up and apologised. Borgo Doria F.C.'s Christian Trombetta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Navarro Escalona in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Resistencia Tayrona FC got a freekick which was hit by Inguma Espejo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Borgo Doria F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
