FC MatriX's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lemel SV the free kick. In the 8th match minute, FC MatriX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihkel Univer to maneuver through the defense. Lemel SV's Jan Sterenberg got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Rivelino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Lemel SV booed when FC MatriX was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reino Nöps didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Jelte Erenstein put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eerik Rannik. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Eerik Rannik came out of the goal and Roberto Rivelino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tim Vrieze might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eerik Rannik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tim Vrieze ran back to his position shaking his head. Lemel SV's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
