Şafak Açıkalın was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. H E P T A N FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Donato in the 5th minute of play forced H E P T A N FC's goalkeeper Arif Bilge Tokyürek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alkan İlgi might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pegoraro Da Messina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alkan İlgi ran back to his position shaking his head. Aykut Zihni hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Wesley Fantini made a precise shot to the right of Arif Bilge Tokyürek. H E P T A N FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Donato in the 16th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alkan İlgi got free with Pegoraro Da Messina in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pegoraro Da Messina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şafak Açıkalın in the 23rd minute. Cláudio Donatello scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Bilge Tokyürek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arif Bilge Tokyürek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Donatello in the 34th minute of play. Leonardo Donato scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Bilge Tokyürek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arif Bilge Tokyürek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half Palmeiras were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Donatello made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, H E P T A N FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Fantini came free, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Wesley Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Bilge Tokyürek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halil Can Balta kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's Alfredão França sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arif Bilge Tokyürek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Alkan İlgi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pegoraro Da Messina quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pegoraro Da Messina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şafak Açıkalın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Palmeiras's Arif Bilge Tokyürek threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonardo Donato, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 81 minutes into the match, Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Şafak Açıkalın came free, but Pegoraro Da Messina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Şafak Açıkalın took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pegoraro Da Messina. Pegoraro Da Messina dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Alfredão França kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Arif Bilge Tokyürek was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonardo Donato showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 92 minute of play. Tomé Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Palmeiras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than H E P T A N FC.
