Albérico Vilaverde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6 minutes into the match, Talcampeón FC's Rainerio Huidobro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albérico Vilaverde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Hugo Painevilu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albérico Vilaverde having to interfere. Damario Ferrada kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Villa didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 11th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Albérico Vilaverde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albérico Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Paredes in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to Talcampeón FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Victor Hugo Painevilu hit a great ball. Albérico Vilaverde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Paredes went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Abel Peralta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Alberto Villa was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Rainerio Huidobro came free, but Albérico Vilaverde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abel Peralta got free with Carlos Alberto Villa in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes of play, Talcampeón FC's Aurelio Paredes made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albérico Vilaverde was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Paredes in the 42nd minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Albérico Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Yeray Necochea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talcampeón FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The SC Braga players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Talcampeón FC were winning 2-4.

Thanks to some nice moves Aurelio Paredes could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Albérico Vilaverde however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Talcampeón FC's zone, Mateus Prates stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Alberto Villa came out of the goal and Mateus Prates tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Talcampeón FC booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Vasques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albérico Vilaverde didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Talcampeón FC's Aurelio Paredes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Albérico Vilaverde was a little too slow when Rainerio Huidobro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-6. Albérico Vilaverde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rainerio Huidobro in the 69th minute. Carlos Alberto Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Álvares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Braga's Albérico Vilaverde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save SC Braga from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Victor Hugo Painevilu made a precise shot to the right of Albérico Vilaverde. SC Braga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-7. SC Braga's Albérico Vilaverde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainerio Huidobro in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Mauricio Vidma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Rainerio Huidobro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauricio Vidma struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Albérico Vilaverde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talcampeón FC. Albérico Vilaverde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yeray Necochea in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Braga's zone, Rainerio Huidobro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albérico Vilaverde came out of the goal and Rainerio Huidobro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. SC Braga's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yeray Necochea 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-8. Talcampeón FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
