Spectators: 157 (Terracing: 118, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcus Pollard started the match with the kick off. The supporters of SC Braga booed when Eureka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gervásio Raminhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Peralta in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg António Carmo saved Eureka from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Eureka's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Peralta came free, but António Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eureka's António Carmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Peralta in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Moisés Álvares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 18th play minutes Marcus Pollard shot 0-1, a short shot which went by António Carmo and just under the crossbar into goal. António Carmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Pollard, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute Marcus Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Carmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24thth minute of the game Marcus Pollard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eureka's António Carmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Marcus Pollard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but António Carmo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Pollard in the 31st minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper António Carmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Carmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Pollard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Campos was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Adriano Campos got a free kick in the 40th minute. Albérico Vilaverde acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 41st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gervásio Raminhos. In the 43rd minute Marcus Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but António Carmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Carmo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Braga's Marcus Pollard. But to his dismay, Marcus Pollard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Daniel Pedroso made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, António Vilela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albérico Vilaverde. SC Braga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that António Vilela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. António Vilela scored 2-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albérico Vilaverde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcus Pollard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. António Carmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gervásio Raminhos fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eureka's protests and gave Gervásio Raminhos a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Eureka got a freekick which was hit by Gervásio Raminhos. António Carmo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leal Antas. After 73rd play minutes Marcus Pollard shot 2-5, a short shot which went by António Carmo and just under the crossbar into goal. If Humberto Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Carmo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Marcus Pollard sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Pedroso was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. António Carmo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 83rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leal Antas. After 88 played minutes Eureka got a freekick which was hit by António Vilela. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Vilela in the 90th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Albérico Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Pollard who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of António Carmo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Álvares in the 95th minute of play forced Eureka's goalkeeper António Carmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The SC Braga players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
