The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Canteranos Fc getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Lucila Gort hit a great ball. Gheorghe Buta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Puișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baristo Reynoso in the 14th minute of play. Emanuel Puișoru had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Americo Bizoso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luís Santana hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baristo Reynoso in the 18th minute of play forced F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Emanuel Puișoru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Carral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Buta in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the game, Baristo Reynoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emanuel Puișoru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simon Carral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Buta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ovando Lanza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canteranos Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Ovando Lanza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Puișoru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matias Barros Schelloto was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Matias Barros Schelloto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Carral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Barros Schelloto in the 52nd minute of the match. Luís Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Gheorghe Buta got a free kick in the 55th minute. Canteranos Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C.DrobetA-Știința- the free kick. Ovando Lanza hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Canteranos Fc's Simon Carral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Santana in the 85th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Canteranos Fc's Emanuel Puișoru threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ovando Lanza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute of the match Edgardo Cristofol sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Simon Carral skillfully saved the ball. Edgardo Cristofol charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Cristofol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes F.C.DrobetA-Știința- got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Cristofol. When the match was over Canteranos Fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C.DrobetA-Știința- throughout the match.
