The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Ediz Tanbek got free with Leonard Sliwinski in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC SZAFIRY were furious when Korneliusz Czubski was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 95th minute, one of FC SZAFIRY:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC SZAFIRY. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Geçkinli's Cem Dervişoğlu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leonard Sliwinski. When the final whistle went the supporters of Geçkinli were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC SZAFIRY side.
