After 19 minutes, Maurinho de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibirama Futebol Clube and the ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute Oséias Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zygmunt Dziechciowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zygmunt Dziechciowski made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Túlio Geniatulin sent off a good shot on target. Victor Hugo Aimar might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Dolcet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Hugo Aimar ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to ￜDCￜ™KKS LECH 2006 getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Emil Lepucki hit a great ball. Dênis Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Zygmunt Dziechciowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zygmunt Dziechciowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio Geniatulin got free with Zygmunt Dziechciowski in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Victor Hugo Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
