Garry Vercauteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vello Lass, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 5th minute, Vello Lass got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Uno Raks managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Kurevere's supporters rose to their feet, but Uno Raks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garry Vercauteren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Vello Lass sped through Bruly's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Garry Vercauteren. JK Kurevere's Taavi Pervik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Wiechgers in the 17th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Vello Lass had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Garry Vercauteren. Bruly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vello Lass was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 29th minute, Vello Lass hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Bruly defense, Aron Tamm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Garry Vercauteren. The Bruly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Garry Vercauteren should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Bruly's goal looked a bit too open when Vello Lass came free, but Garry Vercauteren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garry Vercauteren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vello Lass in the 38th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes JK Kurevere got a freekick which was hit by Vambola Vasser. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Kinkar in the 45th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Garry Vercauteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 played minutes Bruly got a freekick which was hit by Benoit Keuppens. Vello Lass struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Garry Vercauteren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Kurevere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vello Lass to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Bruly's Benoit Keuppens got a free kick in the 52nd minute. The audience cheered loudly when Aron Tamm's long shot in the 53rd minute became 0-4 when the ball went to the left of and passed Garry Vercauteren. Garry Vercauteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Tamm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Uno Raks took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Garry Vercauteren to make any attempt to save it. Taavi Pervik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruben De Moor went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. JK Kurevere made a substitution. Kalmer Üksvärav replaced Kaspar Hein. In the 71st minute Ruben De Moor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taavi Pervik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Vello Lass notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Bruly's Garry Vercauteren. Garry Vercauteren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Vello Lass's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garry Vercauteren was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Kalmer Üksvärav hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Kenney Theys charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenney Theys the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of JK Kurevere booed when Bruly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenney Theys didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vello Lass in the 89th minute of play forced Bruly's goalkeeper Garry Vercauteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdo Kinkar scored 1-8 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Garry Vercauteren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, Vello Lass notched a goal, 1-9, to the right of Bruly's Garry Vercauteren. Garry Vercauteren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. JK Kurevere's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
