El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence Esquivel in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute 曾诚枫 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that 曾诚枫's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modesto Olentzaro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. 曾诚枫 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Olentzaro having to make a save. Omar Canor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Aquilino Rameriz made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Retorno de Palermo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! El Retorno de Palermo:s Modesto Olentzaro showed great skill when he stopped Blake Rice:s penalty. In the 43rd match minute, Houston Fire F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Olivieri to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Rameriz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Esteban Panfilo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Lorencio in the 46th minute of play forced Houston Fire F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquilino Rameriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Cristo Lorencio made the kick off in the second half. John McCain struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Modesto Olentzaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Houston Fire F.C.. The supporters of El Retorno de Palermo booed when Houston Fire F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blake Rice didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Esteban Panfilo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Rameriz skillfully saved the ball. 曾诚枫 hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 62nd play minutes 曾诚枫 shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Modesto Olentzaro and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 曾诚枫 in the 71st minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Modesto Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Olivieri came free, but Modesto Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Canor charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Canor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 78 minutes into the match, Houston Fire F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Mikeldi came free, but Aquilino Rameriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Nunez Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Rameriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 曾诚枫 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Rameriz came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Hilario Mikeldi. But to his dismay, Hilario Mikeldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
