Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joachim Follestad in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Loi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute Joachim Follestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Scaloneta's Ildefonso Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Follestad in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Polat Aranda got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Lost in pace defense, Nicolás Blandi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bjørn Ringnes. The Lost in pace fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bjørn Ringnes should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Nicolás Blandi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ildefonso Loi was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Joachim Follestad capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joachim Follestad really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Øyvind Åsland in the 28th minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Ildefonso Loi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakob Fagervold during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Lost in pace was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Fagervold to maneuver through the defense. Joachim Follestad was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Lost in pace's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Trym Misund received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ildefonso Loi came out and tried to block the shot, but Trym Misund slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 39th minute. Nicolás Blandi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bjørn Ringnes having to interfere. When Brage Mostue fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lost in pace's protests and gave Brage Mostue a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th match minute, Lost in pace was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brage Mostue to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolás Blandi to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Øyvind Åsland in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Loi saved La Scaloneta from getting behind. In the 70th minute Joachim Follestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 71st minute of the match Jakob Fagervold completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jakob Fagervold a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Lost in pace getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jakob Fagervold hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Scaloneta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lost in pace.
