After 28 played minutes Atlético Grau Piura got a freekick which was hit by Oinatz Coz. Atlético Grau Piura's Diego Trujillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Van Field in the 30th minute of play. Milio Izaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Casemiro Mønster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Trujillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thor Reyes hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. SOUTH THUNDER's Santiago Bautista managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Resto Proenza in the 44 minute of the game. Diego Trujillo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by SOUTH THUNDER's Victor Kiliz. But to his dismay, Victor Kiliz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

SOUTH THUNDER's Casemiro Mønster was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Diego Trujillo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 58 minutes into the match, Atlético Grau Piura's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Kiliz came free, but Diego Trujillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Van Field reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Trujillo. The goal made the score 1-3. A collision led to Atlético Grau Piura getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Thor Reyes hit a great ball. Sebastian Xabier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Oterino, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
