Diego Trujillo made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Jérémy Sarmiento sent off a good shot on target. Diego Trujillo was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Arévalo Miñaca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arévalo Miñaca really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 6th match minute, Barcelona de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guerrero Herbon to maneuver through the defense. Diego Trujillo was a little too slow when Arévalo Miñaca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a little luck, Atlético Grau Piura's Diego Trujillo got control of the ball when Arévalo Miñaca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emiliano Urbilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Oterino in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Atlético Grau Piura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ihintza Lumbreras to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Grau Piura's Diego Trujillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jérémy Sarmiento in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arévalo Miñaca in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Trujillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A well-hit corner resulted in Gerson Cardoso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. King Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Félix Torres got free with Diego Trujillo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Arévalo Miñaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Trujillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Trujillo was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Arévalo Miñaca capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arévalo Miñaca really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Arévalo Miñaca scored 4-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Trujillo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jérémy Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. Jérémy Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Trujillo having to interfere. In the 55th minute Jérémy Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Trujillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Atlético Grau Piura booed when Barcelona de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jérémy Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Trujillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jérémy Sarmiento in the 81st minute of the match. King Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Oinatz Coz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arévalo Miñaca in the 88th minute of play forced Atlético Grau Piura's goalkeeper Diego Trujillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jérémy Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Trujillo having to interfere. In the 97th minute Fabian Oterino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Urbilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barcelona de América had played much better football throughout.
