In the 5th match minute, Blaugrana Stare Tychy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Wicherek to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Leonard Christoffersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernard Czeszejko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristian Brodin in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Degerfors IF defense, Beniamin Wicherek kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Sandberg. The Degerfors IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Sandberg should have stopped the shot. After 20 minutes of play, Degerfors IF's Leonard Christoffersson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernard Czeszejko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bernard Czeszejko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Brodin in the 26th minute of play. Bernard Czeszejko came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Degerfors IF's Kristian Brodin. But to his dismay, Kristian Brodin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Blaugrana Stare Tychy's Bernard Czeszejko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Blaugrana Stare Tychy from getting a goal against them. Per Åberg hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Bernard Czeszejko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Christoffersson in the 42nd minute of play. Kristian Brodin might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernard Czeszejko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristian Brodin ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristian Brodin to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Kristian Brodin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernard Czeszejko. Blaugrana Stare Tychy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristian Brodin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristian Brodin in the 64th minute of play forced Blaugrana Stare Tychy's goalkeeper Bernard Czeszejko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Blaugrana Stare Tychy's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Brodin came free, but Bernard Czeszejko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Piotr Bienienda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blaugrana Stare Tychy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Degerfors IF the free kick. A collision led to Blaugrana Stare Tychy getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Piotr Bienienda hit a great ball. Blaugrana Stare Tychy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Wasyl Marud in the 79th minute. A nice corner shot did that Wasyl Marud got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sebastian Sandberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A sloppy throw-in by Eugeniusz Karwowski in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Degerfors IF's Henrik Nordlund. Eugeniusz Karwowski made in the 87th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Degerfors IF's Henrik Nordlund. Degerfors IF's attentive Henrik Nordlund managed to snatch the ball when Eugeniusz Karwowski made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Christoffersson in the 89th minute of play forced Blaugrana Stare Tychy's goalkeeper Bernard Czeszejko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Eugeniusz Karwowski in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Degerfors IF's Henrik Nordlund. When Per Åberg came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Degerfors IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Åberg couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Degerfors IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Blaugrana Stare Tychy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
