Cornelio Bermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Cedro in the 4th minute of play. Kjønstad BF were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rasmus Moland took the corner. Kjønstad BF's Rasmus Moland was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cornelio Bermudo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ booed when Kjønstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Bang didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Gregory to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ defense, Kjell Alsvik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cornelio Bermudo. The Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cornelio Bermudo should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Mario Bang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Bermudo. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Bang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Kjell Alsvik scored 0-3 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornelio Bermudo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 minutes, Kjell Alsvik made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cornelio Bermudo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Kjell Alsvik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was beautiful to see Kjønstad BF's Rasmus Moland in action when he in the 47th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After the first half Kjønstad BF were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armando Quezada to make the kick off. Kjell Alsvik took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornelio Bermudo. Cornelio Bermudo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Cornelio Bermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell Alsvik, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute, Raymond Engevik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornelio Bermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Kjønstad BF made a substitution. Yu Ying Xiao replaced Rasmus Moland. After a defensive mix-up in Kjønstad BF's zone, Vincent Janssen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Bonk came out of the goal and Vincent Janssen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raymond Engevik struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Cornelio Bermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kjønstad BF. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Kjell Alsvik took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Cornelio Bermudo to make any attempt to save it. Enrique Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Bonk having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Chus during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Cipriano Chus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 89 minutes, Kjell Alsvik made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cornelio Bermudo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Enrique Eutropio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjønstad BF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
