In the 12th minute RB Chubut were awarded a corner. Fabian Jerrald went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 14th minute Andrézinho Pelé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Florian in the 17th minute of play forced RB Chubut's goalkeeper Paco Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Justo Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, RB Chubut's Paco Zamora got control of the ball when Filomeno Aurken tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of RB Chubut booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Sergi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A wasted opportunity for RB Chubut. 67 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Diagur came free, but Paco Zamora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 77 played minutes, RB Chubut's Fabian Jerrald shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rigoberto Ignazio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RB Chubut reached it. In the 79th minute, Fabian Jerrald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, Baldomero Fliz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Q. T. I.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RB Chubut the free kick. Baldomero Fliz hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Ignazio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niles Moran went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 91 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Bartoli. Paco Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Palban, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. In the 98th minute Justo Florian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
