Leandro Daneri came out of the goal and Vilhelm Finsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When KD Stiger's Georg Danielsson in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of El Eterno Campeón booed when KD Stiger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vilhelm Finsberg to make the kick off. Vilhelm Finsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leandro Daneri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. KD Stiger's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Eterno Campeón the free kick. In the 96th minute, Vilhelm Finsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 97 minutes, Xosé Jullian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Eterno Campeón and the KD Stiger players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to El Eterno Campeón getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Xosé Jullian hit a great ball. KD Stiger's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
