In the 17th minute, Eliseu Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Willian Maia came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Natingui FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian Maia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Guerra in the 26th minute of play forced Roneros F.C.'s goalkeeper Asensio Berzosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Natingui FC got a corner. Roneros F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eliseu Guerra ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Eliseu Guerra advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 27th minute. After 31 played minutes Roneros F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Geovanny Fuertehijar. If Guillermo Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alisson Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Gainzarain, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Alisson Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Colon in the 43rd minute of play. If Guillermo Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute, Karl Månsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Héctor Gainzarain to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Natingui FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Willian Maia hit a great ball. Alisson Taffarel was a little too slow when Geovanny Fuertehijar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. Karl Månsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Colon got free with Alisson Taffarel in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alisson Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Colon in the 67th minute. When Segundo Balaunde fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roneros F.C.'s protests and gave Segundo Balaunde a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Natingui FC booed when Roneros F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Balaunde didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Willian Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Karl Månsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alisson Taffarel. The goal made the score 1-2. Alisson Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Guillermo Colon sent off a good shot on target. When Roneros F.C.'s Guillermo Colon in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Natingui FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute Luisinho Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asensio Berzosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Roneros F.C.'s Julian Gambo got a free kick in the 86th minute. Asensio Berzosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton da Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Luisinho Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Roneros F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
