Ardahan Hekimbaşı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Jesus in the 16th minute. A collision led to MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ferdi Bro hit a great ball. MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Ardahan Hekimbaşı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Jesus in the 19th minute of play. Gabriel Jesus might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ardahan Hekimbaşı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Jesus ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the game, Apolo Playo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PiCaNTeS FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu the free kick. A collision led to PiCaNTeS FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Apolo Playo hit a great ball. Gabriel Jesus scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ardahan Hekimbaşı, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 played minutes Gabriel Jesus rounded MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Fernan Itzaina kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 43 played minutes MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu got a freekick which was hit by Halis Miran. Ardahan Hekimbaşı was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nicanor Elodio. Gabriel Jesuss short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Ardahan Hekimbaşı to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Delmiro Abajas came free with the goalkeeper in the 46th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ardahan Hekimbaşı could save by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kamer Özkaya was the one to do the kick off. Kubilay Hasret could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Lev Yashin made a huge save. Ardahan Hekimbaşı came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by PiCaNTeS FC's Gabriel Jesus. But to his dismay, Gabriel Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 56th minute, Gabriel Jesus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ardahan Hekimbaşı was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ardahan Hekimbaşı should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Gabriel Jesus sped through MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ardahan Hekimbaşı. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Delmiro Abajas put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ardahan Hekimbaşı. MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's Ardahan Hekimbaşı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Jesus in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Apolo Playo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PiCaNTeS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Playo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, MeRSiN-İDMaN-YuRDu's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Jesus came free, but Ardahan Hekimbaşı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute Gabriel Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ardahan Hekimbaşı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PiCaNTeS FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
