Fedele Di Berardino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Hernández in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Fernando Tolhauzsen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Fedele Di Berardino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Alvaro Napoleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA Lord Perez's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Napoleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandro Cavareda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fedele Di Berardino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remicio Price, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Alvaro Napoleone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fedele Di Berardino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Hernández went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 45 minutes into the game, Gustavo Martiarena cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Fedele Di Berardino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half AFC Richmond were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Hernández stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fedele Di Berardino made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Fernando Tolhauzsen sent off a good shot on target. Fedele Di Berardino was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Remicio Price capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remicio Price really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Napoleone in the 58th minute of play forced AFC Richmond's goalkeeper Sandro Cavareda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fedele Di Berardino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Remicio Price showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 62 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Arostegui got free with Fedele Di Berardino in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the match, Gustavo Martiarena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fedele Di Berardino, 1-8. Remicio Price succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-9. In the 95th match minute, LA Lord Perez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Manzoli to maneuver through the defense.
