An unexpectedly hard shot by Avery Novak in the 8th minute of play forced Grêmio Prudente's goalkeeper Luiz Fabiano Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Shiba & Doge Club™'s goal looked a bit too open when Elano Andrade came free, but Emilian Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's Valdemar Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilian Martinez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luiz Fabiano Arantes made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Pedro Haaland sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Haaland could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Luiz Fabiano Arantes however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Prudente's Jairo Macedo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Júlio Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Martinez having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Shiba & Doge Club™'s goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Macedo came free, but Emilian Martinez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Valdemar Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Falcão's late challenge caught a Grêmio Prudente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Falcão helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute Valdemar Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emilian Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes of play, Grêmio Prudente's Valdemar Valle made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilian Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Luiz Fabiano Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avery Novak, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Avery Novak came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Shiba & Doge Club™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avery Novak couldn't finish the play. After 59 minutes, Josué Sá mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shiba & Doge Club™ and the Grêmio Prudente players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Shiba & Doge Club™ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Josué Sá hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elano Andrade got free with Emilian Martinez in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Fabiano Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ademar Carmona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fabiano Arantes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Shiba & Doge Club™ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Branco Preto hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the game, Grêmio Prudente's Elano Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilian Martinez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Shiba & Doge Club™'s Emilian Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Shiba & Doge Club™ from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Ademar Carmona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilian Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 83 minutes on the clock, Carlos Teles commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Avery Novak sped through Grêmio Prudente's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Fabiano Arantes. Elano Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Emilian Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulinho Passos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Martinez having to interfere. In the 98th minute of the match Grêmio Prudente got a corner. Shiba & Doge Club™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nicolas Mendes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Grêmio Prudente supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Grêmio Prudente would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
