In the 16th minute Eugenio Urbina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barões F. C.'s Augusto Maciel got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Arias. 24 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goalkeeper Micael Castelao had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Loureiro. After 30 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Quico Camacho. The long shot by Geovanni Ramos in the 31st minute really tested Micael Castelao's skills. Frodo Acarreta helped the player get up and apologised. Frodo Acarreta hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Chicão Tepedino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Micael Castelao skillfully saved the ball.
