In the 9th minute, Vidar Lang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ismael Rivera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute, Llanos Vinegra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismael Rivera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilhelm Lidman in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Vilhelm Lidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SJÖARED's Adrian Springfält proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save SJÖARED from getting a goal against them. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Atlético Municipal made a substitution. Valiente Rivera replaced Kinsen Calzado. With a little luck, Atlético Municipal's Ismael Rivera got control of the ball when Vilhelm Lidman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael Rivera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Lang in the 55th minute of play. Adrian Springfält made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valiente Rivera in the 79th minute of play. The supporters of SJÖARED booed when Atlético Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Che Feliciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Che Feliciano struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Adrian Springfält didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Municipal. SJÖARED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urban Rudberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SJÖARED walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
