The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Atlético Municipal's Txomin Almaraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Lambert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Johannes Van Laer's late challenge caught a Atlético Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Suikerklontjes got a freekick which was hit by Josef Rits. After a defensive mix-up in Suikerklontjes's zone, Andoni Viguri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils Lambert came out of the goal and Andoni Viguri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the game, Nataniel Avienzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nils Lambert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Josef Rits charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Josef Rits the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, Josef Rits hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Lambert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nataniel Avienzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Llanos Vinegra in the 46th minute of play forced Suikerklontjes's goalkeeper Nils Lambert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart Van de Velde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cayetano Hoa took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nils Lambert. Nils Lambert was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 73 minutes into the match, Suikerklontjes's goal looked a bit too open when Andoni Viguri came free, but Nils Lambert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
