Grêmio Bulls's Marcel Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Rashford in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Lengua de Lobo booed when Grêmio Bulls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Grêmio Bulls defense, Rigoberto Birjaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Jacinto. The Grêmio Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Jacinto should have stopped the shot. Marcel Jacinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After some careless play in the Grêmio Bulls defense, Chang Ceballos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcel Jacinto. The Grêmio Bulls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Jacinto should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Franklin Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chang Ceballos hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chang Ceballos in the 36th minute of play forced Grêmio Bulls's goalkeeper Marcel Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcel Jacinto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Rashford went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Rashford in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Jacinto saved Grêmio Bulls from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Marcus Rashford put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Marcel Jacinto. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Lengua de Lobo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
