Mihály Földesi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Radowit Ryback showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Levente Nagy in the 13th minute of the match. Mihály Földesi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Serwach, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Levente Nagy's late challenge caught a KS Bozywerek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Levente Nagy helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Levente Nagy got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Wieslaw Drapinski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihály Földesi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. 57 minutes into the match, Julian Kociniewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihály Földesi. Gyál United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Kociniewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Radowit Ryback took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miklós Bodnár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Julian Kociniewski came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the KS Bozywerek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Kociniewski couldn't finish the play. Radowit Ryback made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Géza Bozsik in the 71st minute of play. Gyál United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miklós Bodnár in the 72nd minute. The corner led Gyál United's Géza Bozsik to fire away a dangerous shot which Radowit Ryback despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 87th minute, Edgar Piwowarski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Piwowarski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of KS Bozywerek booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Géza Bozsik didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over KS Bozywerek could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gyál United throughout the match.
