In the 19th minute, Apollo Heite got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Urbes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Bernberich having to make a save. Aurelio Urbes struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Robert Bernberich didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Renacer del Quijano FC. In the 27th minute, Humberto Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Hamburg getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Stanislaus Blank hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, FC Hamburg's goalkeeper Robert Bernberich had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aurelio Urbes. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Alfredo Sayveon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 44th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Robert Bernberich but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislaus Blank was the one to do the kick off. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Nicasio Raymond was substituted for Aurelio Urbes. 64 minutes into the game, Josef Appenzeller threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Renacer del Quijano FC's Valentino Rosas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Robert Bernberich didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentino Rosas went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Nicasio Raymond scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Bernberich, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Josef Appenzeller made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ludwig Wolf however managed to control. In the 76th minute Nicasio Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Bernberich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Appenzeller's late challenge caught a El Renacer del Quijano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Josef Appenzeller helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Hamburg's Josef Appenzeller got a free kick in the 77th minute. Robert Bernberich made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicasio Raymond in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Nicasio Raymond notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of FC Hamburg's Robert Bernberich. The El Renacer del Quijano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. El Renacer del Quijano FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Hamburg for a fine match.
