An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Lauren in the 11th minute of play forced Forever Råsunda AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Granberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Forever Råsunda AIK got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Ingemarsson. Basilio Lauren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Karl-Johan Granberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Marcos Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Granberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Olof Ingemarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Ciro Ferdinand sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Johan Granberg skillfully saved the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Marcos Berdoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Karl-Johan Granberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
After 52 minutes of play Forever Råsunda AIK's Jan-Olof Ingemarsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 53rd minute, Marcos Berdoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Johan Granberg. The goal made the score 0-4. 60 minutes into the game, Hans Classon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forever Råsunda AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. In the 60th minute, one of Forever Råsunda AIK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Forever Råsunda AIK. When the match had been going on for 61 minutes, Club Atlético Atlanta's Ciro Ferdinand got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Karl-Johan Granberg. Karl-Johan Granberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Berdoi in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Basilio Lauren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Basilio Lauren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Johan Granberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute of the match Club Atlético Atlanta got a corner. Forever Råsunda AIK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciro Ferdinand ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner Ciro Ferdinand fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Karl-Johan Granberg quite easily take care of the ball. Abel Iban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Berdoi in the 78thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Karl-Johan Granberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Karl-Johan Granberg stood somewhat misplaced when Marcos Berdoi came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 79 minute. If Basilio Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Johan Granberg stood somewhat misplaced when Marcos Berdoi came free in front of goal and shot 0-7 to the left of him in the 91 minute. Abel Iban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Karl-Johan Granberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcos Berdoi came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Club Atlético Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Berdoi couldn't finish the play.
