Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ernest Ştati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Velloso in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Valdir Velloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ernest Ştati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Balhikapungava Bonk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Ştati having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Ove Hamnberg during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Here Comes the Hammer got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Ove Hamnberg. In the 20th minute of the match, Nicodim Zogreanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christer Åkesson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ernest Ştati made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaaki Zakas in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Here Comes the Hammer were awarded a corner. Kant Spel went to the cornerflag to take it. Kant Spel made a great header on Here Comes the Hammer's corner, it was just that Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Ernest Ştati managed to reach the ball for a save. Christer Åkesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ion Iftodi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorin Lipan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Here Comes the Hammer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Tunström to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute Zaaki Zakas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Ştati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Christer Åkesson managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s Sorin Lipan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Sorin Lipan could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Christer Åkesson however easily saved by the left post. Here Comes the Hammer's Evert Wahlnäs managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Basarab Rareș in the 47 minute of the game. After the first half Here Comes the Hammer were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaaki Zakas made a kick off. Here Comes the Hammer's Kant Spel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 51st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ernest Ştati but with some difficulty. Ernest Ştati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Basarab Rareș was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Here Comes the Hammer the free kick. In the 56th minute, Basarab Rareș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
