An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Etxepare in the 11th minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Sílvio Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandro Sotilli got free with Amadeo Vincent in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Sandro Sotilli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LOBO 1908 made a substitution. Narciso Bertassi replaced Sandro Sotilli. Sandro Sotilli kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Sílvio Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Quiroga in the 18th minute of the match. Amadeo Vincent was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eduardo Arósio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as LOBO 1908's Eduardo Arósio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amadeo Vincent. That made the score 3-0 after 23 minutes of play. LOBO 1908's Sílvio Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Lalla in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute, LOBO 1908's Eduardo Arósio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amadeo Vincent. Amadeo Vincent yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When Luisito Seme fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Martin de Tucuman's protests and gave Luisito Seme a yellow card for diving instead. Luisito Seme hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, LOBO 1908's Eduardo Arósio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. During the 46th minute of the match Luisito Seme completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luisito Seme a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 46th minute, Luisito Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match, Eduardo Arósio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amadeo Vincent saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Etxepare was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Arósio couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in San Martin de Tucuman's zone, Eduardo Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeo Vincent came out of the goal and Eduardo Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Eduardo Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amadeo Vincent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Arósio scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amadeo Vincent, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amadeo Vincent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Arósio in the 69th minute of play. Amadeo Vincent dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. The audience was convinced that Gláuber Arósio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeo Vincent was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Amadeo Vincent showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
