YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Arantes in the 12th minute of play. Eduardo Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmuth Duckadam having to interfere. LOBO 1908's Narciso Bertassi was substituted for Sandro Sotilli. After 30 minutes of play, LOBO 1908's Eduardo Arósio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Helmuth Duckadam was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Arósio in the 39th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Helmuth Duckadam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The F.C. YKE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LOBO 1908 were winning 0-1.

Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Eduardo Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmuth Duckadam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LOBO 1908's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Glauco Arantes in the 53rd minute. Eduardo Arósio in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Helmuth Duckadam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. LOBO 1908's Eduardo Arósio was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Maxim-Alexander Ike was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. YKE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOBO 1908 the free kick. Maxim-Alexander Ike kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Arósio got free with Helmuth Duckadam in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Arósio in the 60th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Helmuth Duckadam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Arósio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Francisc Stanca managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. YKE's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisc Stanca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sílvio Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LOBO 1908's Narciso Bertassi got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gláuber Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisc Stanca hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gláuber Arósio in the 83rd minute of play. LOBO 1908's Gláuber Arósio got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sílvio Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Stanca in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisc Stanca in the 92nd minute of play forced LOBO 1908's goalkeeper Sílvio Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Jonas da Rocha put in a rough tackle. After 93 played minutes LOBO 1908 got a freekick which was hit by Jonas da Rocha. 94 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's Edgar Oblemenco broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The F.C. YKE supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LOBO 1908's performance. The match ended with a win for LOBO 1908.
