When Zlato Gorišek fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HIT Gorica's protests and gave Zlato Gorišek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Zlato Gorišek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Florinio Sales came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florinio Sales couldn't finish the play. Florinio Sales did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Lan Šorli 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Florinio Sales managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSD Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Florinio Sales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lan Šorli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florinio Sales's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lan Šorli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Istok Šabotić in the 21st minute of play forced CSD Concepción's goalkeeper Nicolás Villamil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Istok Šabotić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Nicolás Villamil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26th minute, Gualberto Abbatte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the game, Salomone Liendo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lan Šorli. Salomone Liendo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 37th minute Gualberto Abbatte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lan Šorli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Florinio Sales had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lan Šorli. HIT Gorica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florinio Sales was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florinio Sales, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Salomone Liendo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the CSD Concepción fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Salomone Liendo couldn't finish the play. Gualberto Abbatte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florinio Sales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lan Šorli having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florinio Sales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lan Šorli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florinio Sales's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. CSD Concepción were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after HIT Gorica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juanjo Campaña took the corner. 56 minutes into the match, HIT Gorica's goal looked a bit too open when Florinio Sales came free, but Lan Šorli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florinio Sales in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lan Šorli saved HIT Gorica from getting behind. CSD Concepción made a substitution. Nereo Pola replaced Daud Gazale. Onur Ali Cespan took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lan Šorli. Lan Šorli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Miguel Manilan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lan Šorli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onur Ali Cespan, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Onur Ali Cespan made a precise shot to the right of Lan Šorli. HIT Gorica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Vargas in the 89th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Lan Šorli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Onur Ali Cespan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Concepción fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. After 95 minutes of play, CSD Concepción's Onur Ali Cespan made it 10-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lan Šorli was left in no man's land by his defense there! CSD Concepción's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
