The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dedê Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Tabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Bebela's goalkeeper Dedê Jacinto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucio Tabb. After some careless play in the Bebela defense, Lucio Tabb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dedê Jacinto. The Bebela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dedê Jacinto should have stopped the shot. Lucio Tabb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dedê Jacinto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Estudiantes de América's Lucio Tabb got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dedê Jacinto made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ezequiel Luke sent off a good shot on target. Estudiantes de América's Pascual Acosta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Bezerra in the 26th minute of play. If Lucio Tabb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lucio Tabb succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Dedê Jacinto had great luck who in the 42ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Lucio Tabb from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After 43 minutes, Ezequiel Luke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estudiantes de América and the Bebela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pascual Acosta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Bezerra in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Eriberto Tancredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pascual Acosta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Dedê Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Tabb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Estudiantes de América's Elias Argoitz was substituted for Ignacio Donostia. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guga Bezerra was the one to do the kick off. When Lucio Tabb came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Estudiantes de América fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Tabb couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Bebela defense, Moises Eyague kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dedê Jacinto. The Bebela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dedê Jacinto should have stopped the shot. After having played for 57 minutes, Moises Eyague managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Eyague was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Moises Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebela's Dedê Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Tabb in the 62nd minute of play. Moises Eyague hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bebela's Cauan de Alcântara got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Eyague in the 69th minute of play forced Bebela's goalkeeper Dedê Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Argoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Bebela's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Argoitz came free, but Dedê Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dedê Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Tabb in the 73rd minute of the match. Lucio Tabb took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dedê Jacinto. Dedê Jacinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Lucio Tabb scored 7-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dedê Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Moises Eyague nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedê Jacinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. In the 97th minute, Moises Eyague got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
