In the 30th minute, Renato Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes Maritza got a freekick which was hit by Veliko Lanzhev. Mei Xiang Ting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vladimir Pushkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 53rd minute, Bobi Palpurin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Maritza getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Veliko Lanzhev hit a great ball. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Renato Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Maritza's goal looked a bit too open when Léo Paiva came free, but Vladimir Pushkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lyudmil Shivarov fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maritza's protests and gave Lyudmil Shivarov a yellow card for diving instead. Lyudmil Shivarov hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Maritza's Teodosi Iliychev got a free kick in the 74th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Yu Hong Yong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Pushkov. Maritza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yu Hong Yong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Milcho Zhalov got in the 79th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Breno Motta and thus it was 2-1. Vladimir Pushkov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Silva in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA's Renato Mello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Pushkov made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FORMIGÃO DE BRAGA had played much better football throughout.
