Stellan Almstedt's late challenge caught a Valdieri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Arne Kämpe to strike the kick off in the second half. Sven-Arne Kämpe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dario De Felice came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Arne Kämpe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 60th minute. After a rather tough play, Valdieri's Cristiano Garro got a free kick in the 97th minute. Chants of Houston FF echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Valdieri had held the ball for most of the match.
