The crowd rose to their feet as Andrei Lupu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernardo Di Francesco. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Nàstic de Tarragona's Andrei Lupu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Di Francesco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, Emiliano Di Fazio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Nicolò Kings's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nàstic de Tarragona the free kick. In the 10th match minute, San Nicolò Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Di Fazio to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Andrei Lupu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Bernardo Di Francesco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Currito Talavera put in a rough tackle. The supporters of San Nicolò Kings booed when Nàstic de Tarragona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Currito Talavera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Di Fazio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Facundo Lastras was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nàstic de Tarragona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Nicolò Kings the free kick. A collision led to Nàstic de Tarragona getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Facundo Lastras hit a great ball. Emiliano Di Fazio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Andrei Lupu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Bernardo Di Francesco made a huge save.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Melucci was the one to do the kick off. Eraldo Cammarota kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Alberigo Panza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrei Lupu in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Di Francesco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andrei Lupu might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Di Francesco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrei Lupu ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 57th match minute, San Nicolò Kings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eraldo Cammarota to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, Nàstic de Tarragona's goal looked a bit too open when Ermanno Spada came free, but Anartz Naranjo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, San Nicolò Kings's Eraldo Cammarota got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes San Nicolò Kings got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Gazza. After a defensive mix-up in San Nicolò Kings's zone, Andrei Lupu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Di Francesco came out of the goal and Andrei Lupu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 77 minutes into the game, Andrei Lupu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Bernardo Di Francesco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Facundo Lastras came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Nàstic de Tarragona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Lastras couldn't finish the play. Andrei Lupu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Di Francesco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to Nàstic de Tarragona getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pepito Reyes hit a great ball. San Nicolò Kings's Bernardo Di Francesco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Lupu in the 87th minute of play. Corrado Gazza kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to San Nicolò Kings's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Pepito Reyes tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Bernardo Di Francesco seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. After taking down the ball on Nàstic de Tarragona's corner Belasko Casillas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernardo Di Francesco quite easily take care of the ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Belasko Casillas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Nicolò Kings's Bernardo Di Francesco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nàstic de Tarragona fans cheered their team off the field, for while San Nicolò Kings had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
