Dudu Ferreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robbie McLeish showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Ramos in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Jason Duffus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dudu Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jason Duffus kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Dudu Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Duffus in the 46th minute of play. Dudu Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Duffus in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Smiddy Celts were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

That made the score 2-7 after 74 minutes of play. 83 minutes into the match, Jason Duffus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dudu Ferreira. Nada Pontual F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jason Duffus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cauã Ramos in the 86th minute of play forced Smiddy Celts's goalkeeper Robbie McLeish to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robbie McLeish made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Vander in the 94th minute of play. Smiddy Celts's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
