In the 4th match minute, Vilo Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. When Bonifacio Cloyo fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilo Futbol Club's protests and gave Bonifacio Cloyo a yellow card for diving instead. Godofredo Tibalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Izotz in the 12th minute. Godofredo Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Lore in the 15th minute of play. Cirilo Peruanton scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godofredo Tibalt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Godofredo Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Iyan in the 29th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Ceferino Dimo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilo Futbol Club's Godofredo Tibalt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Godofredo Tibalt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnoldo Iyan in the 34th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pastor Fe during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when Vilo Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Fe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Iyan to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vilo Futbol Club's zone, Faustino Gaztea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Tibalt came out of the goal and Faustino Gaztea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vilo Futbol Club were furious when Denis Loco was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Vilo Futbol Club getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Denis Loco hit a great ball. With a little luck, Vilo Futbol Club's Godofredo Tibalt got control of the ball when Cirilo Peruanton tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Vilo Futbol Club's Israel Ixaka was substituted for Bonifacio Cloyo. Vilo Futbol Club's Godofredo Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Izotz in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Felipillo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Dimo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Tibalt saved Vilo Futbol Club from getting behind. Vilo Futbol Club's Godofredo Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Izotz in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Ruperto Cristofor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilo Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Despidida AFC the free kick. When Geronimo Izotz came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Despidida AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Izotz couldn't finish the play. Pastor Fe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Roberto Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Herensuge was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Israel Ixaka capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Israel Ixaka really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Godofredo Tibalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Izotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Godofredo Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Dimo in the 93rd minute of the match. Godofredo Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Izotz in the 94th minute of play. Geronimo Izotz scored 2-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Godofredo Tibalt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
