Jude Vang acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sebastião Azevedo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justin Raines in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson do Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastião Azevedo made a great header on Bandelocos's corner, it was just that El Canalla de Chicago's Jude Vang managed to reach the ball for a save. Nilson do Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justin Raines's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Sobis was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Bandelocos got a freekick which was hit by Henry Tormes. Nilson do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Hubbard, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Cody Gentry replaced Curtis Daniel. After a rather tough play, Bandelocos's Henry Tormes got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 65th match minute, Bandelocos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Tormes to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Domingo Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Canalla de Chicago fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Bandelocos's Nilson do Vale got control of the ball when Domingo Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nilson do Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raul Knox's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Nilson do Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With his leg Nilson do Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when El Canalla de Chicago's Domingo Lopez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side.
