Soren Herremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Soren Herremans came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Rebelution's José Ponce. But to his dismay, José Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Rebelution fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Rebelution's José Ponce looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Rebelution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Natanael to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Rebelution got a freekick which was hit by Saul Gaitano. Gunter Van Den Driessche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The real club roba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rebelution were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when José Ponce made the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Marco Elodio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rebelution and the real club roba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Evis in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Soren Herremans, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. real club roba's Soren Herremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Evis in the 75th minute of play. Rebelution were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after real club roba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zacarias Natanael took the corner. The corner led Rebelution's Zacarias Natanael to fire away a dangerous shot which Soren Herremans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Souto got free with Soren Herremans in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Victor Evis put it in 0-7 from a short distance just to the right of Soren Herremans. When Gilberto Romero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Gilberto Romero hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th play minute José Ponce came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Soren Herremans. 0-8. Rebelution's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
