The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fredric Holmberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Stanyo Púpkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aston Villa FC's Fredric Holmberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, SEA FALCONS's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Jonsson came free, but Yani Tenekedzhiev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SEA FALCONS's Yani Tenekedzhiev got control of the ball when Eric Löfskog tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eric Löfskog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Yani Tenekedzhiev made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Johan Pilgren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yani Tenekedzhiev quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Pilgren during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Krum Pindev sped through Aston Villa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fredric Holmberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omurtag Kulin in the 34th minute of play forced Aston Villa FC's goalkeeper Fredric Holmberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SEA FALCONS's Stanoy Sirakov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fredric Holmberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Aston Villa FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SEA FALCONS were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Eric Löfskog made the kick off in the second half. Slavcho Tzúklev hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in SEA FALCONS's zone, Stig Falkrantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yani Tenekedzhiev came out of the goal and Stig Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanyo Púpkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Fredric Holmberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Jonsson in the 64th minute of play forced SEA FALCONS's goalkeeper Yani Tenekedzhiev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SEA FALCONS's Stanoy Sirakov got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Aston Villa FC's Eric Löfskog in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
