Marko Björkqvist hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Jan Billström could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which Fabian Felin however easily saved by the left post. In the 26th minute, John Beck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When John Beck came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Skyborn FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Beck couldn't finish the play. Gösta Söderberg's late challenge caught a A2 IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gösta Söderberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of A2 IF booed when Skyborn FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gösta Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christoffer Ödmann hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Skyborn FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
