Paschalis Simitis came out of the goal and Janusz Rutkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Thodoris Chatzoudis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 68 minutes into the game, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Themos Kostikos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dariusz Jaroch made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Themos Kostikos hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Thodoris Chatzoudis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thodoris Chatzoudis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Thodoris Chatzoudis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's supporters rose to their feet, but Thodoris Chatzoudis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dariusz Jaroch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dariusz Jaroch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kleon Tavlaridis in the 86th minute of the match. Dariusz Jaroch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filippos Makridakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ fans cheered their team off the field, for while KM Efektowni had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
