Söderbröder's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Martinez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Vidar Hjortberg fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Söderbröder's protests and gave Vidar Hjortberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Söderbröder's Vidar Hjortberg got a free kick in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Törnblom came free, but Gabe Conejo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elias Carballo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Söderbröder's Björn Browall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Carballo in the 46th minute of play. Björn Browall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Martinez in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Volio to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, CS La Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qu Yuan Bin to maneuver through the defense. Ingmar Törnblom could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Gabe Conejo made a huge save. In the 62nd minute Vidar Hjortberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabe Conejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
